Conference 2017 Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  I'd like to book a different number of days accommodation than what is available on the bookings page.  What do I do?

A. Email us at reust@optusnet.com.au and we will be able to assist if there are rooms still available.  Alternatively, you can book at one of the many hotels nearby yourself.

Q. Can I share a room with a colleague?

A. There is no problem with getting twin share rooms, especially if you are on a budget - but you need to organise your rooming partners before booking! Please email reust@optusnet.com.au if you have special room booking requirements and we will let you know the cost and confirm booking for you. 

Q. Is there Wi-Fi at the hotel?

A. Yes, for an additional fee. There is also Wi-Fi available in the conference area should you need to check emails. But we hope you will be too busy networking...

Q. How do I get from the airport to the hotel? 

A. The Taxi drive from the airport to The Ville Resort-Casino is a short 15 minute trip costing about $15.

Q. I have special dietary needs. Can you cater for me?

A. Sure can. Please specify when making your booking or you can email us at reust@optusnet.com.au

Q. I'd like to book for one day only at the conference.  Can I do that?

A. Yes. There is an option for booking only one day on the registration page.  This one day registration does not include the social events.

Q. What is the booking fee for the Conference?

A. The booking fee of 30c per ticket and credit card charge goes straight to Try-booking our booking agent. 

Q. Do I still need to book for the free Cultural Tour if I have booked for the full conference?

A. Yes you need to book for the Cultural Tour separately to assure your place on the bus.
